Carnival Dream Cruise Sept 2010
In Sept 2010, we decided to take a cruise on the Carnival Dream utilizing some of our Marriott Rewards points. This ship was brand new in 2010 and what a ship it was! Mom and her sisters decided to come too, along with Pops! We decided to spend the first night down in Disney at the Disney's Villas at Wilderness Lodge, since we have DVC points there and shared a 2bd unit. I think they were all impressed and we even got to see some fireworks!
The next day we had breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge and had a blast, the waiter there was hilarious!
Then it was off to the ship in a stretch limo. I think mom and the sisters got used to this when they were off on an Alaskan cruise, and I must say, since the port was 45 mins away, this was the way to travel! Shane had an entire section of the limo all to himself.
I think I can safely say the best part about this ship was the Spa area. There are actually cabins you can get with a special entrance and the cabin price includes entrance to the spa which was fantastic! The food on this ship was also fantastic! I highly recommend this one, although if you are an early to bed, early to rise kind of person, this is not the cruiseline for you!
