Disneyworld Thanksgiving 2010
Since we had decided to take the family to Disney in April, we felt it was only fair if Chris got to go too, so we decided to take him on our Thanksgiving trip. The benefit to this was obviously extended hours in all the parks, the downside was the crowds! It was very crowded there the entire week and busses were always packed. We started out the week in Villas at Wilderness Lodge as this is our favorite for the holiday decorations, but to give Chris another side of DVC, for the second half of the week, we stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas in a Savannah view room. This one is quickly becoming a favorite of mine because of the incredible views you can get from your room. The pool area was also very nice, but again, crowded during this time of year. I think Chris really enjoyed his first trip to Disneyworld. We even made sure he had a birthday button as well as a 1st time visitor button, and I think we got some great locations in the restaurants because of this!
