Williamsburg, VA
Oct 12-19th, 2007
Since Shane and I had so much stress over the last few months with the move, we decided to take a nice relaxing vacation to Williamsburg VA. What a great week we had. We checked out Hallowscream at Busch Gardens, which is always a favorite, Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown Victory Center, Jamestown, Williamsburg Winery, shopping in the outlet malls, and Shane even got me out golfing in Ford's Colony (gorgeous course by the way!)
We stayed at the Marriott Manor Club at Ford's Colony which happens to be the timeshare that we recently purchased. Amazing how we like to buy properties before we ever set eyes on them (we did the same thing with our Timberlodge purchase). The unit was beautiful and we really enjoyed our screened in porch. We were steps to the indoor pool and Marketplace area. If it wasn't for shotty service at the front and activities desks, I would have rated this resort a 9 out of 10. Unfortunately, wasn't pleased with those, so I rate it an 8 out of 10.
